HR Generalist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries, resolving issues effectively
- Collect and verify hours worked for each employee
- Obtain necessary approvals from management for exceptional payments
- Accurately calculate payroll, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Issue payment statements to employees, either electronically or in print
- Maintain accurate records of hourly rates, wages, benefits, and new hire data
- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related tax laws and regulations
- Support payroll and HR-related projects
- Prepare payroll and HR-related reports for senior management
- Handle confidential employee information with discretion and care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR
- Experience in HR administration for blue-collar roles
- Solid understanding of labor law and HR compliance
- Strong skills in Excel; experience with SF, DATEV, and Biopanel is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, self-reliance, and results orientation
- Fluent German and English are mandatory
