About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategy and execution of GXO’s workers compensation program
- Assist in development and measurement of annual objectives and key results (OKRs), Quarterly Targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Recommend strategies to meet or exceed goals
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and OKRs
- Communicate gaps, trends, or observations to leadership
- Evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of vendors and subcontracted vendors
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for operational enhancement
- Analyze industry benchmarks and draft reports for use in evaluating comparative program performance
- Oversee and analyze Return-to-Work performance against Workers Compensation strategy
- Manage the Litigation Platform which includes evaluating defense counsel outcomes
- Collaborate with external and internal partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related field
- 5 years progressive experience in finance or analytical role within a casualty brokerage firm, third-party claim administrator or corporate risk management department
- 1-year leadership experience
- Experience in drafting formal documents
- Developing and delivering presentations
- Project planning and cross functional collaboration
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
- Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Querying experience with Risk Management Information System tools
