About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert advice and guidance on payroll queries, policies, and systems to managers and colleagues
- Process payroll data accurately and on time, meeting agreed Service Level Agreements
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- Monitor and track payroll activities, proactively resolving issues before they impact deadlines
- Support key activities such as end-of-year reporting, pay reviews, and HRIS updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong payroll knowledge and experience managing large, multi-frequency payrolls
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS/Payroll systems
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical, practical approach
- A customer-focused mindset with great communication and influencing skills
