About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, implement, manage and control all areas of the transport and warehouse operations and associated costs within area of remit, with maximum efficiency to ensure it exceeds customer expectations
Create, lead and manage a culture that is focused on maintaining and continuously improving a ‘world class’ Health and Safety standard across the entire operation
Ensure National Planning is communicated effectively and delivered across the sites to agreed client KPI’s
Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with our customer, communication on all day-to-day operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience manging a fast-moving transport operation
Ability to work under pressure and to a tight deadline
Business acumen and commercial awareness
Holder of a Full International CPC - Managers
