About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, prepare and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs. budgets and identifying variance drivers
Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging
Identify, measure and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics
Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution
Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
Design reports that are concise, well organized, professional in appearance and easy to modify and distribute

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of experience in audit, accounting or FP&A
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field
4 years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other BI tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to develop insightful, value-added and actionable analyses
