About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct the activities of Site and District Safety Managers within a high-volume, automated supply chain environment
  • Partner closely with Operations leadership to achieve key safety and performance objectives across all shifts
  • Champion a proactive safety culture within a high automation and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) environment
  • Lead and standardize case management processes
  • Oversee and enhance the onsite Athletic Trainer (AT) program
  • Recognize and promote top safety performers
  • Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis
  • Develop and lead cross-functional safety initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Drive consistent execution of safety audits and risk assessments
  • Partner with training teams to ensure robust onboarding and ongoing certification
  • Establish clear goals and performance expectations for safety teams
  • Collaborate with site leadership to integrate safety into daily operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience implementing environmental compliance programs
  • 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a team-focused environment
  • Experience interpreting and applying state and federal environmental regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
