About the role
- Design and implement training curricula that align with 3PL operational goals and workforce development strategies.
- Collaborate with operations, HR, and site leadership to assess training needs and deliver targeted learning solutions.
- Lead high-visibility programs such as Site Leader Academy and Graduate/Intern initiatives to build leadership pipelines.
- Evaluate and recommend learning technologies, platforms, and vendors to enhance training delivery and engagement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on business impact, strategic alignment, and stakeholder input.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, learning outcomes, and program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and learning sessions that support talent development, change management, and organizational capability.
- Champion process improvement initiatives that streamline training operations and eliminate inefficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent work/military experience; logistics experience may substitute for education)
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate training
- 2 years of experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Project management experience
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience with Cornerstone LMS or similar platforms (it’d be great if you also have)
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, IO Psychology, or Human Resources (it’d be great if you also have)
- Professional certifications, such as: Associate or Certified Professional in Talent Development (ATD/CPTD) PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP (it’d be great if you also have)
- Experience in the transportation/freight operations or logistics industry (it’d be great if you also have)
- Strong awareness of trends, techniques, and technologies in the training and development space
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
