Transport Administrator
GXO Logistics, Inc.Transport Administrator working for a global supply chain leader at IKEA's distribution centre. Managing transport clerical duties and customer service in Dartford on a 4 on / 4 off shift.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all aspects of transport clerical duties for the site
- Be part of a team that is responsible for vehicle administration
- Manage customer service both internally and externally
- Support the transport operation in compliance to company processes
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Excellent organisation, communication, and customer service skills
- Understanding of Tachograph compliance and Working Time Directives
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Strong communication skills, with ability to work on own initiative as well as team engagement/delivery
