Warehouse Team Manager
GXO Logistics, Inc.Warehouse Team Manager leading operational activities in a fast-paced environment at GXO. Responsible for team management and performance in support of Sainsbury’s frozen warehouse operation.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
- Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
- Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
- Management of the warehouse training requirement and function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
- The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
