About the role

  • Create inspection programs for CMMs (coordinate measuring machine) to measure the physical characteristics of parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Requirements

  • Strong experience programming CMMs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Advance Knowledge of GD&T
  • Proficiency with CAD models (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
  • Experience creating, editing, and optimizing CMM inspection programs
  • Knowledge of probe calibration, alignment strategies, and fixture setup
  • Ability to work independently while creating new programs
