Create inspection programs for CMMs (coordinate measuring machine) to measure the physical characteristics of parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience programming CMMs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Advance Knowledge of GD&T
Proficiency with CAD models (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
Experience creating, editing, and optimizing CMM inspection programs
Knowledge of probe calibration, alignment strategies, and fixture setup
Ability to work independently while creating new programs
