About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead configuration of Workday modules including Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, HCM, Talent, and Compensation
  • Architect and guide Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and security roles
  • Evaluate and adopt new features with each Workday release and guide policy development
  • Develop and own advanced, matrix, composite, and dashboard Workday reports
  • Drive data quality and integrity across Workday and connected systems
  • Own audit readiness through reporting, documentation, and control frameworks
  • Design and lead testing strategies, test plans, scripts, and UAT coordination
  • Lead regression and functional testing for biannual Workday releases
  • Advise cross-functional stakeholders and senior partners on complex Workday matters
  • Provide expert-level system support and independently resolve complex issues
  • Develop scalable solutions that prevent recurring issues
  • Mentor and upskill team members and key users on Workday functionality
  • Serve as an internal subject matter authority on Workday capabilities and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7 years of hands-on Workday analyst or configuration experience
  • Advanced, wide-ranging knowledge of Workday security, business processes, reporting, and calculated fields
  • Ability to independently determine methods and techniques on new, complex assignments
  • Ability to work on complex, ambiguous issues requiring in-depth evaluation
  • Independent judgment in selecting approaches, with work reviewed upon completion rather than in progress
