About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own reusable capabilities, patterns, primitives, standards, and tooling for agentic service workflows
  • Design reusable orchestration, human-in-the-loop protocols, override and escalation logic, and quality safeguards
  • Set concrete standards for workflow builders
  • Prototype workflows to validate patterns, expose gaps, and unblock difficult problems
  • Extract reusable components from prototypes and hand them off
  • Incorporate learnings from builds into shared patterns
  • Influence Product priorities with evidence-based asks
  • Prototype capabilities missing from the platform before investment
  • Rank automation opportunities by volume, risk, and customer impact
  • Mine SOPs, operational metrics, and interaction data to prioritize work
  • Work with Data to define workflow performance measurement
  • Identify processes that should not be automated
  • Bring customer stakes into Legal, Security, Compliance, and platform reviews
  • Represent portfolio performance to senior stakeholders in an action-oriented manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in operations, product, or AI roles
  • At least 2 years designing and deploying AI-assisted or agentic workflows in production
  • Hands-on experience with agentic tooling, orchestration frameworks, or MCP-style integrations, including multi-agent coordination
  • Strong fluency with LLM systems, including prompt design and evaluation
  • Experience designing human-in-the-loop systems with escalation logic, override controls, and compliance-aware checkpoints
  • Ability to define and diagnose workflow metrics, including solve and assist rate, containment, and escalation quality
  • Proven track record influencing Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Compliance in writing, design reviews, and high-stakes forums
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI practices, governance, and risk management in production
  • Prior experience in a function being actively redefined
  • Experience with RAG architectures and retrieval quality optimization strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess data structures, quality, and governance for reliable agentic performance strongly preferred
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments strongly preferred
  • Exposure to AI governance or safety-oriented review processes strongly preferred
