About the role
- Planning, execution and documentation of software tests
- Analysis of requirements and specifications to derive appropriate tests
- Documentation and tracking of defects
- Close collaboration with developers, product management and the QA team
- Performing regression tests, functional tests and system tests
- Contributing to the improvement of test strategy and test processes
- Preparation of user documentation
Requirements
- Experience testing complex software systems
- Professional experience in software development (ideally in accounting, i.e., financial accounting or controlling, or in an ERP environment)
- Business knowledge in accounting (preferably demonstrable through a degree, vocational training or professional experience)
- Knowledge in quality assurance, testing methodologies and test tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ideally also Java
- Strong analytical skills and a results- and quality-oriented working style
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English skills
