About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships with key retail accounts and independent distributors.
  • Build strong customer relationships and negotiate merchandising agreements.
  • Ensure optimal product placement, merchandising and availability across all channels.

  • Drive sell-out growth by ensuring optimal product placement, stock availability and promotion execution.
  • Merchandize shelves, displays, priority placements and cold locations in accordance with brand standards and planograms.
  • Identify and close gaps in distribution and in-store execution to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and stock levels in CRM tools.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Implement pricing and promotion strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prospect new retail accounts and business opportunities to expand distribution.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers, brokers and distributors.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with brokers to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Provide brokers with necessary training and product knowledge to optimize their performance.
  • Maintain regular communication with brokers to align objectives and ensure achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align promotional plans, inventory management and distribution.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • DEC in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or beverage industry, with a proven track record in direct distribution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale distribution models.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software (e.g., Salesforce).
