About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Enterprise Reporting leadership and internal business stakeholders to define and prioritize reporting, dashboard, and data delivery initiatives
  • Ensure reporting solutions meet requirements for accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and usability
  • Define and validate product requirements, features/epics, and user stories
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with the product vision and roadmap
  • Plan and execute product development sprints and releases with product teams and business owners
  • Review and accept product deliverables against acceptance criteria and quality standards
  • Manage the product lifecycle to meet compliance requirements and business objectives
  • Execute current sprints and prepare upcoming sprints
  • Establish team velocity and forecast future efforts
  • Coordinate BA, development, and QA leads to meet sprint goals
  • Manage sprint priorities according to the product roadmap
  • Engage stakeholders during new feature rollouts and conduct regular demos
  • Identify dependencies, plan for dependencies, and remove blockers
  • Manage sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Communicate proactively when sprint goals are at risk
  • Create metrics-driven project dashboards for technology workstreams
  • Partner with the EPMO reporting team to improve JIRA as the source of truth
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, business, logistics, or related field preferred
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a product owner, product manager, business analyst, or similar role in a digital product development environment
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting, business intelligence, analytics platforms, or data-focused technology teams
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Trello
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting expectations and priorities
  • Strategic, creative, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements, features, and user stories
  • Experience delivering high-quality products that provide value to customers and stakeholders
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle models
  • Expert knowledge of Agile and traditional Waterfall project management principles and practices
  • Extensive experience working with vendors and offshore resources
  • Technical background sufficient to lead development teams and evaluate complex product risks and issues
  • Experience with release management and feature deployments
  • Strong Jira knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required
