About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own a defined area of BillingCenter end-to-end, from customer discovery through launch and adoption
Run the discovery–delivery loop by speaking with carriers, documenting problems, writing specifications, and partnering with engineering and design
Contribute evidence and a clear point of view to the Billing roadmap and prioritization process
Build relationships with billing operations, finance, and IT leaders at carrier customers
Partner daily with engineers and architects on scoping, sequencing, trade-offs, data models, integrations, and cloud delivery decisions
Coordinate with product managers across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, the Guidewire Cloud Platform, and payments/integrations
Define success metrics including adoption, cycle time, straight-through processing, and customer satisfaction
Use metrics to guide future product investments and priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of product management experience
Experience with enterprise B2B SaaS products serving large customers
Direct experience with P&C insurance, ideally billing, payments, premium accounting, agency bill/direct bill, commissions, or disbursements
Direct experience in billing, payments, or fintech, including invoicing platforms, payment processing, collections, reconciliation, or treasury systems
Track record of shipping meaningful features end-to-end from problem discovery through adoption
Technical fluency, including ability to read API contracts, reason about data models, and conduct substantive design conversations with senior engineers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate between customer language, product specifications, and engineering detail
Familiarity with Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Duck Creek, Majesco, or comparable core insurance platforms preferred
Exposure to AI/ML or agentic features in a production product preferred
Experience with cloud/SaaS migration and large installed bases of on-premises customers nice to have
Background working with carrier finance, treasury, or accounting stakeholders nice to have
Prior experience as an engineer, solutions architect, business analyst, or implementation consultant on core insurance systems nice to have
Must pass criminal history and other applicable background checks
