use AI-native coding approaches and AI-assisted tools (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) to build, refactor, and extend our services quickly and safely
maintain high engineering standards, tests, and observability
support PDO’s mission to embed GenAI across our products
improve operational excellence, and deliver secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services at scale

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 2+ years of Software Development experience, preferably in SaaS or cloud solutions
Proficiency in Core Java, and good working knowledge of the Spring framework
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
Experience building microservices on cloud service platforms (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure) – AWS preferred
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
Experience designing REST or gRPC based APIs
Ability to use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
Understanding of relational database persistence (e.g. MySQL, Oracle); familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, CouchDB) is a plus
Great understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles; experience with related tools such as TeamCity, Git-based workflows, or Kubernetes is a definite plus
Experience with LLMs, LangChain, and/or AI patterns such as RAG or ReAct is a plus
Exposure to AI/ML development patterns such as prompt engineering or integrating AI services into production systems is a plus
BS/MS degree (Computer Science or related field)
