About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide overall solution strategy and lead architectural governance
Ensure delivery success by aligning client goals with scalable, maintainable Guidewire solutions
Act as a cross-functional thought partner—working closely with Engagement Managers, customer executives, developers, and product teams
Investigate and implement tools, techniques, and processes for managing configuration and requirements
Conduct elaboration sessions to capture requirements beyond InsuranceSuite such as data, reporting, analytics, forms, integrations
Define requirements and validate specifications that leverage Guidewire Products and technology
Act as Guidewire lead for a functional / technical workstream
Provide mentorship and oversight to BA team members
Review and approve requirements definitions
Anticipate application risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to customer business and leadership teams
Present proposed solutions and roadmaps to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Cloud teams to resolve product questions and surface roadmap needs
Contribute to internal architecture standards and mentor junior Architects
Participate in business architecture forums and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in enterprise software business architecture, with relevant delivery experience
German language skills
Proven ability to define business application solutions across multiple workstreams or regions
Demonstrated ability to develop requirements that maximize use of base functionality
Proficiency in Agile delivery and hybrid cloud implementation strategies
Involvement in pre-sales, including reviewing value delivery of proposed solution
Ability to lead and inspire others through collaboration
Travel for onsite client engagements as required (up to 50%)
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
