About the role
- Lead Guidewheel’s reporting and analytics capabilities to make factory data accessible, intuitive, and action-oriented.
- Define product direction and team strategy aligned to Guidewheel’s overall product vision.
- Own team charter, set OKRs, track progress, and hold team accountable to outcomes.
- Collaborate with design and engineering to set an iterative, high-velocity roadmap and allocate resources with 'metered funding'.
- Drive execution and ship experiences that empower users and drive measurable results.
- Deeply engage with end users (operations leaders, plant managers, supervisors, process engineers) through on-site visits.
- Travel approximately 20% to visit and understand customers’ manufacturing challenges.
- Evolve role responsibilities as company grows to focus on high-impact work.
Requirements
- 4+ years of PM experience.
- Proven experience leading multiple product lifecycles and honed judgment on product decisions.
- Expertise on end users: operations leaders, plant managers, supervisors, and process engineers.
- Deep immersion in manufacturing environments and willingness to visit factories and walk the floor.
- Willingness to be on the road ~20% of the time.
- Strong product instincts, ability to synthesize customer feedback and set direction.
- Excellent communication and alignment skills; clarity creator and culture carrier.
- Obsession with outcomes: able to define OKRs, track progress, and own roadmaps.
- Experience collaborating with design and engineering on iterative, high-velocity roadmaps.
- Familiarity with AI for product research, spec, prototyping, and validation.
- Leadership experience owning team charter, goals, and delivery.
- Customer-centric mindset and growth mindset.
