About the role
- Own and close a personal quota for network security solutions, including firewall, SASE, SD-WAN, NAC, NDR, and related technologies
- Develop new customer relationships and expand existing accounts through consultative, outcome-driven selling
- Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and IT leadership
- Partner closely with Solutions Architects to scope, position, and close technically complex opportunities
- Establish repeatable sales motions, messaging, and best practices for network security offerings
- Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for the network security practice
- Hire, onboard, and mentor network security sales reps and overlay specialists as revenue scales
- Transition from primarily selling to player-coach leadership, balancing personal revenue with team development
- Create scalable processes for network security growth across the region
Requirements
- 8+ years of cybersecurity sales experience, with a strong emphasis on network security
- Proven success as a top-performing individual contributor in a VAR, MSSP, or channel-focused organization
- Experience closing complex, multi-solution deals
- Ability and desire to evolve into a people leader and practice builder
- Strong understanding of modern network security architectures and market trends
