About the role
- Observe and participate in vendor demonstrations of AI-powered security tools
- Assist in developing AI-driven workflows for security reporting and documentation
- Research emerging AI/ML applications in vulnerability management and code review
- Support the team in building prototypes for AI-assisted security processes
- Help identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve security operations
- Shadow security assessments and manual testing engagements
- Assist in reviewing and validating security findings from various tools, as applicable
- Observe SDLC activities and build familiarity with SSDLC phases and activities
- Support maintenance of security documentation and knowledge base
- Help with security tooling configuration and optimization tasks
Requirements
- Basic understanding of application security concepts and tools like SAST, DAST, SCA
- Familiarity with manual testing tools like Burp Suite, or OWASP ZAP
- Passion for Web Development, Cyber Security, or Application Security
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new skills quickly
- Eastern/Central time zone, preferred
