Support Regional Partners and Account Executives by requesting quotes from vendors and distributors and generating quotes for customers.
Manage Salesforce.com opportunities, track pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting reports.
Correspond with customers and serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, manufacturing partners, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives.
Support new business and renewal business in a quota bearing environment and keep pulse on assigned regional opportunities.
Assist the Marketing team with planning and coordinating regional marketing events, vendor sponsorships, invites, and venue arrangements.
Serve as liaison between Account Executives, Accounting and Contracts Departments to process and track orders.
Perform pipeline analysis, attend regional forecast calls, and leverage resources to bring value to customers.
Analyze information, manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines, and streamline processes to ensure customer deliverables.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferred.
3+ years in a customer service/sales support type role. A background in the IT industry is preferred.
Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Navigation.
Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience preferred.
Self-motivated with excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities.
Must have outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
Ability to work well with a team.
An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must.
Solid Math skills with the ability to calculate margins/discounts, and percentages required.
Must be open to receiving constructive feedback and applying it to improve their results.
Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible work schedule required.
Any travel/on site requirements as needed.
Physical: Sedentary work; substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day; close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
