About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage network support and related tasks as directed by the client’s designated lead.
  • Provide services focused on network setup, documentation, support, and new site installations.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services, including but not limited to: Routers, switches, and firewalls. Load balancers, VPNs, and QoS configurations.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Conduct system resource monitoring, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Adhere to established configuration and change management policies, ensuring all changes are reviewed, approved, and successfully implemented.
  • Collaborate with the company’s security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support for network and system-related issues within strict SLA windows.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise in networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto)
  • In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and VPN technologies
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, and other communication protocols
  • Proficiency in Windows Server management; experience with Active Directory, MFA, and related systems
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and integration with messaging systems
  • Strong familiarity with ITIL standards and maintaining PCI compliance in network environments
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems with a proven ability to manage and resolve tickets promptly
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Local to Dallas area and available to go onsite to customer locations as needed.
