About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead workforce transformation efforts for the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer organization
Lead a workstream supporting development of a strategic human capital plan and growth plan
Analyze workforce data and glean insights on trends and opportunities
Support assessment of human capital/workforce practices and strategies
Design accompanying implementation plans
Support development of stakeholder engagement approaches and initiatives
Assist in developing metrics to evaluate workforce transformation effectiveness
Prepare for and lead internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings
Support multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery
Prepare briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans
Communicate program status and progress to senior leaders
Work under the direction of a Managing Consultant

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust
Must obtain approved adjudication of Public Trust prior to onboarding
Bachelor’s degree
At least five or more years of relevant experience leading strategic workforce transformation efforts and directing the work of a team
At least three or more years of management consulting experience in workforce transformation
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications is nice to have
Experience consulting for DHS is nice to have
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are nice to have
Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships is nice to have
Experience working in DHS is nice to have
