About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a Business Analyst supporting the Platforms - ServiceNow team
- Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow-related initiatives
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions across the platform
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization
- Analyze current-state and future-state processes to recommend efficient, scalable solutions
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively
- Assist with testing activities, including test planning, execution support, and validation of delivered functionality
- Maintain documentation and help ensure project deliverables are aligned with business goals and technical standards
- Travel up to 25% to Guidehouse or client office
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to ServiceNow
- Proven experience with hands on coding and scripting
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting enterprise technology or ServiceNow implementations
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process documentation
- Experience creating user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Washington DC/Metro area highly preferred due to client location
- Up to 25% travel to Guidehouse or client office
