About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead defined workstreams within healthcare strategy and transformation engagements, owning day-to-day execution, analytic outputs, and storyline development
- Translate ambiguous client needs into structured problem solving, including problem framing, hypothesis development, workplan design, task planning, analysis, synthesis, and risk/issue escalation
- Apply commercial payer/provider expertise to federal health challenges involving reimbursement, payment structures, policy-driven incentives, operations, provider behavior, and performance outcomes
- Perform and guide quantitative and qualitative analysis, turning findings into decision-ready implications
- Develop executive-ready PowerPoint deliverables and concise written products with clear recommendations
- Lead and support operational and performance transformation through current-state mapping, pain-point identification, target-state process and operating-model design, governance, and metrics definition
- Facilitate stakeholder working sessions, interviews, and workshops; synthesize inputs and manage communications
- Manage junior staff through delegation, quality review, and actionable feedback
- Contribute to internal capability building, thought leadership, templates, accelerators, proposals, and capture efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in consulting and/or healthcare industry roles
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare strategy and/or transformation, with exposure to payer/provider, operating models, or performance improvement
- Strong understanding of commercial payer/provider environments, including reimbursement/payment fundamentals and how policy and payment structures affect outcomes
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
- Advanced Excel proficiency required
- Proven ability to lead workstreams, build client-ready deliverables, and communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US Citizenship required)
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%)
