About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead defined workstreams within healthcare strategy and transformation engagements, owning day-to-day execution, analytic outputs, and storyline development
  • Translate ambiguous client needs into structured problem solving, including problem framing, hypothesis development, workplan design, task planning, analysis, synthesis, and risk/issue escalation
  • Apply commercial payer/provider expertise to federal health challenges involving reimbursement, payment structures, policy-driven incentives, operations, provider behavior, and performance outcomes
  • Perform and guide quantitative and qualitative analysis, turning findings into decision-ready implications
  • Develop executive-ready PowerPoint deliverables and concise written products with clear recommendations
  • Lead and support operational and performance transformation through current-state mapping, pain-point identification, target-state process and operating-model design, governance, and metrics definition
  • Facilitate stakeholder working sessions, interviews, and workshops; synthesize inputs and manage communications
  • Manage junior staff through delegation, quality review, and actionable feedback
  • Contribute to internal capability building, thought leadership, templates, accelerators, proposals, and capture efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting and/or healthcare industry roles
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare strategy and/or transformation, with exposure to payer/provider, operating models, or performance improvement
  • Strong understanding of commercial payer/provider environments, including reimbursement/payment fundamentals and how policy and payment structures affect outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required
  • Proven ability to lead workstreams, build client-ready deliverables, and communicate effectively (written and verbal)
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US Citizenship required)
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%)
