About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a team addressing an Executive Order, legislative requirements, and Federal agency objectives around transportation access and coordination
- Own the development and quality of client products
- Establish and manage work plans, deadlines, and deliverable requirements
- Directly manage client relationships
- Work across Federal agencies to identify opportunities for better transportation coordination for underserved populations
- Develop the strategic planning process and manage implementation activities for an interagency council
- Plan, draft, and develop outreach and communications materials, strategic plan components, executive-level meeting presentations, and public-facing transportation resources
- Develop facilitation guides, talking points, and materials for federal executives for webinars, presentations, and meetings
- Lead client interactions, including meeting preparation, facilitation, and follow-up
- Collaborate across federal offices and agencies to improve transportation-related coordination and efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Three (3) years of public sector consulting experience
- Experience creating and refining public sector policy initiatives
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research and writing executive-level reports
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience with project management
- Experience with facilitation and consensus building
- Experience working with and delivering communications to senior-level audiences
- Experience developing and growing client relationships
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Familiarity with Federal agencies, policies, and programs preferred
- Familiarity with public transportation, including human services transportation, non-emergency medical transportation, and transportation access, preferred
- Familiarity with Google Workspace in the public sector preferred
