About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in fit/gap analysis sessions to understand clients’ business processes
  • Analyze business functions, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats
  • Conduct needs assessments by collecting information about work procedures, workflows, reports, and customer business needs
  • Determine system utilization requirements through research and testing
  • Document requirements and create workflow and process diagrams
  • Work with the UI/UX team to create mockups based on requirements
  • Act as the Product Owner on the scrum team throughout the Agile development lifecycle
  • Organize functionality demonstrations for management, end users, and internal staff
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing with end users or on their behalf

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related experience, or an additional four (4) years’ combination of experience, education, and training in lieu of degree
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience creating workflows and mockups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience gathering and engaging in business process analysis
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Confidence working with and interfacing with clients across different parts of the business
  • Comfort working with technology, including web-based systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Grants Management experience preferred
