About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer classroom, virtual, and web-based courses using COTS, customized, or agency-developed materials
- Deliver live instructor-led training in traditional and virtual environments
- Develop course materials, handouts, instructor guides, and visual aids
- Support distance learning through online courses, mobile learning, webcasts, podcasts, and video-based training
- Manage the agency’s Learning Management System by uploading content, maintaining modules, and ensuring Section 508 compliance
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and analytics and recommend improvements
- Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and virtual sessions, including scheduling and prerequisite tracking
- Provide technical support and customer service for training participants
- Conduct training needs assessments across practitioner levels
- Redesign existing courses and develop new curriculum for financial and acquisitions operations
- Create innovative learning solutions, including gamification, blended/hybrid models, and interactive e-learning
- Develop certification programs aligned with federal standards
- Pilot new courses, gather feedback, and refine them before rollout
- Keep materials current with policy, system, and organizational changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years in instructional design, training development, and delivery
- Expertise in adult learning theory and technology-enabled training
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with LMS administration and virtual learning platforms
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards
- All deliverables must be Section 508 compliant and free of macros
- Ability to integrate emerging technologies such as AI and automation into training programs
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 2 Public Trust clearance
- Must be a US citizen or have US residency for at least 3 of the past 5 years
- Compliance with federal security, privacy, and records management policies
- Advanced degree or certifications such as CPTD or ATD preferred
- Familiarity with federal financial management and acquisitions training is a plus
