About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve state, county, city, nonprofit, and multilateral clients
- Address client challenges across economic development, sustainability, disaster recovery, business design, organizational strategy, technology strategy, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology implementation, risk management, compliance monitoring, and program management
- Deliver high-impact solutions to state and local government business and technology problems
- Translate strategy into action
- Define and lead client work, including baseline assessments, future-state vision development, implementation planning, stakeholder management, and communication with varying audiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree required
- Must remain enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027
- Minimum 0 years of experience
- Currently authorized to work in the country
- No current or future sponsorship is available
- Knowledge of and passion for improving state and local government through academic courses and project work
- Preferred degree programs include business, public policy, urban planning, economics, engineering, math, computer science, and environmental science/studies
- Proven success and thorough skills in defining and leading client work, conducting baseline assessments, building a future-state vision, developing implementation plans, managing multiple stakeholders, and communicating with varying audiences
- Knowledge of key facets of state and local government, including sustainability, urban planning, education, housing, transportation, justice, and/or administration
- Knowledge of core management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management
- Travel required up to 25%
