About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead implementation of Site Reliability Engineering practices across enterprise environments.
- Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability metrics.
- Drive automation of operational processes and incident response workflows.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Design and implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- US Citizenship is contractually required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of SEVEN (7)+ years of overall work experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud platforms.
- Strong AWS operational experience.
- Experience with production operations, monitoring, and incident response.
- Experience with container orchestration, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- AWS Professional certification would be nice to have.
- Google SRE or related reliability engineering experience would be nice to have.
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments would be nice to have.
- Experience with Chaos Engineering practices would be nice to have.
- Familiarity with geospatial platforms including ArcGIS Enterprise would be nice to have.
