About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, status reports, RAID logs, and communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and projects on track.
- Coordinate resources, facilitate meetings, drive issue resolution, and proactively remove blockers to support successful execution.
- Track progress against commitments, manage scope changes, and escalate risks or impediments as needed to ensure project delivery.
- Support process improvement efforts and help establish project management best practices, tools, and standards across the team.
- Contribute to Business Development efforts.
- Travel to client sites.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ten(10) + years of experience in technical project management, product management, or related roles in a technology environment.
- 3+ experience managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services agencies.
- Experience with Child Welfare and Child Support implementation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive cross-functional execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of project management and Agile methods.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft ADO.
- Experience working in enterprise platform or cloud-based technology environments.
- Experience leading large-scale or highly complex technical initiatives.
- Familiarity with the HHS procurement lifecycle, including experience with RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, and state-specific procurement processes.
- Ability to analyze data and create executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Must be able to travel to client sites as needed.
