About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow key client relationships across a portfolio of healthcare providers and financial institution (lockbox) clients, ensuring high client satisfaction and long-term partnership value
  • Drive revenue growth and wallet share expansion through: Contract renewals and renegotiations; Expansion of Payment Automation and Lockbox Healthcare service offerings
  • Lead end-to-end account management, including: Financial performance (revenue, margin, forecasting accuracy); Operational delivery oversight and service quality; Executive-level stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and execute account strategies (1–3 year horizon) aligned with client objectives and Guidehouse growth priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to: Improve revenue recognition and billing accuracy; Drive automation and process standardization (e.g., invoicing, reporting, workflows); Enable scalable delivery models
  • Lead complex commercial discussions and negotiations with healthcare systems and banking clients, including pricing, scope, and contractual terms
  • Ensure compliance, governance, and risk management, including: Regulatory and contractual obligations (e.g., PCI, data privacy, audit readiness); Engagement governance frameworks and documentation
  • Drive operational transformation initiatives, including implementation of tools, automation, and service delivery improvements
  • Provide mentorship to junior account managers and analysts, improving team capability, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate and work with offshore Delivery centers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Services, or Consulting within Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Payment Automation, or Financial Services
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios with ownership of revenue and margin performance
  • Strong understanding of Healthcare RCM workflows (e.g., ERA, billing, reconciliation)
  • Payment processing and/or bank lockbox operations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive contract negotiations, and client expansion strategies
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across product, operations, and finance
  • Influence senior client stakeholders and internal leadership
  • Experience with financial forecasting, pricing models, and revenue recognition processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage ambiguous and complex business challenges
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
