About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Senior Consultants help our healthcare clients transform their business processes, improve efficiency and operations, increase transparency and performance management, and comply with Federal laws and regulations.
- You will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation, and delivery of project results.
- You will own project workstreams and interact with healthcare clients and Guidehouse leaders regularly to ensure engagement success.
- Your role includes supporting day-to-day operational tasks for clients and consulting leaders including analysis, research, and project management tasks.
- Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives.
- You will lead, coach, and mentor Consultants and ensure quality deliverables.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, public policy, or related field
- 3+ years of management consulting or planning experience in the healthcare industry
- A thorough understanding of the healthcare industry with a passion for improving it
- Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and prioritize resources and time effectively
- Experience maintaining project timelines and contributing to project reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing reports and client/public-facing documents and communicating complex concepts effectively
- Comfort with analysis in Microsoft Excel and ability to translate analysis findings
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and develop successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to create clear and compelling presentations for clients on complex topics
- Ability to Obtain Public Trust (U.S. Citizenship Required)
