About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will develop and maintain test script using relevant frameworks.
- Automate test cases across multiple user roles.
- Implement UI Automation using tools such as playwright.
- Conduct peer reviews of your code.
- Share test execution results and feedback every release cycle.
- Lead test automation initiatives and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of Six (6) years of experience in quality assurance or testing for enterprise systems and application development.
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least two (2) years of experience providing QA and testing support for AWS-based workloads.
- Proven ability to perform manual and automated testing, including defect documentation, reproduction, and validation.
- Strong expertise in test automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), API testing, performance testing, and tools such as Swagger and Postman.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) integrated with AWS services (e.g., SSM, PostgreSQL).
- Demonstrated proficiency in testing workloads built with AWS services and technologies including Vue.js, Python, Django, and S3.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate, mentor, and support team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Experienced Agile practitioner with a track record of planning and delivering software in iterative environments.
- Ability to test and validate workloads for compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
