About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guidehouse is hiring an IT Project Manager to join one of our Department of State teams
Lead and enhance governance processes across the public diplomacy technology portfolio
Oversee the monitoring and continuous improvement of the IT governance lifecycle
Lead IT project management activities across the portfolio
Drive CPIC activities such as investment planning and performance tracking
Develop, refine, and report on metrics and key performance indicators
Coordinate requirements gathering sessions and document system/business requirements
Identify, assess, and manage project and portfolio-level risks
Support the integration of TBM practices to improve transparency into IT spend
Provide strategic insights to align projects with evolving organizational goals
Collaborate with government counterparts and cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field
FIVE (5) or more years of experience in IT Project Management roles, including managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology initiatives
Expertise in federal IT governance and CPIC processes
Background in Technical Business Management (TBM)
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
PMP certification or equivalent
Experience working with the Department of State
Experience working in cross-functional teams or large organizations
