About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure, administer, and support internal business applications in alignment with Guidehouse standards for security, governance, and performance
- Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 support for end users, including troubleshooting application, software, and basic system issues
- Assist with support and maintenance of enterprise systems, including ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Replicon)
- Customize application features, workflows, forms, and role‑based access to support business processes
- Support user access requests, account setup, and basic security permissions
- Leverage low‑code / no‑code platforms, automation tools, and AI‑enabled features to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
- Partner with business users to gather requirements, document use cases, and translate needs into effective application configurations
- Assist with testing, upgrades, releases, deployments, and change management activities
- Document incidents, resolutions, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in data validation, basic reporting, and application optimization initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors or internal technology teams to escalate and resolve issues as needed
- Support training efforts and help users adopt new systems or features
- Operate with professionalism, attention to detail, and collaboration in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a University Degree and minimum 0-2 years of prior relevant experience OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Strong interest in enterprise technology, business applications, and process improvement
- Foundational understanding of: Application administration and configuration concepts
- IT fundamentals such as operating systems, networking, or databases
- Data structures, basic SQL, or reporting concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users
- Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and willingness to learn
