About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment.
- Provide support in human capital strategy, strategic planning, and workforce assessment and development of organizational and mission goals.
- Support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of War (DoW).
- Serve as a SME, possessing in-depth knowledge to advance research of cyber workforce policies.
- Support development, revision, and staffing of relevant DoW Directives and other policy issuances.
- Review, draft responses, and develop recommendations for legislative proposals on the Cyber Workforce.
- Assist in planning and analysis, development, and promulgation of workforce strategies.
- Provide expertise to inform leadership in making strategic and management decisions.
- Perform risk assessments and use new research concepts or improved techniques.
- Work with team members to summarize and report on business process improvements.
- Organize and lead client meetings, including scheduling, drafting agendas, and documenting action items.
Requirements
What you’ll need- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" security clearance after onboarding.
- Master's Degree.
- TEN (10) or more years of experience supporting workforce planning.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Experience developing new and re-designing existing processes.
- Capability to manage multi-task projects.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and present topics to diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to management and client needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with cyber workforce strategy and governance.
