About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between contracting and program office.
- Develop acquisition packages leading to contract award.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to coordinate and streamline the acquisition process.
- Coordinate and manage the exchange of information, documents, and data.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the acquisition process.
- Assist in the development of acquisition strategies.
- Monitor and track the progress of ongoing acquisitions, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities for potential acquisitions.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Communicate with all levels of an organization and prepare engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executives.
- Perform quality assurance reviews on written work products.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse acquisition methodologies and tools.
- Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience supporting federal clients or deep consulting experience; Minimum 3 of the 5+ years supporting federal acquisition projects.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Strong working knowledge of the federal acquisition process.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Ability to write and edit reports, create briefings for senior executives, research and write articles, and customize content for various audiences.
- Proficient use of the suite of Microsoft Office products.
