About the role

  • Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Technology AI and Data practice with a dedicated focus on military clients in the Defense & Security segment.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and interactive dashboards.
  • Collaborate with military clients to understand data architecture, data pipeline and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the development of ETL pipelines and dashboard integrations using Databricks and Microsoft Power Platform tools (i.e. Power BI).
  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
  • Develop and optimize dashboards aligned with federal reporting standards, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal data governance, security, and performance standards.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • ONE (1) or more years of experience in data engineering and dashboard development.
  • Experience with Databricks, business intelligence tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure.)
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or Spark.
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and integrating data sources into reporting platforms.
