About the role
- As a Control-M Administrator and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our client's batch job schedulers, FTP Server connections, connectivity with the file storage (OnBase) and maintenance ensuring they operate smoothly and securely to meet business needs.
- Scheduler Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring new software on servers and workstations as needed.
- Scheduler Monitoring: Actively monitoring scheduler, identifying potential issues, possible network bottlenecks, and security threats, etc.
- Scheduler User Account Management: Creating, managing, and maintaining user accounts and permissions to ensure data security and access control.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to scheduler, network connectivity, and user access.
- Security Management: Implementing and enforcing security policies, managing firewalls, etc.
- Performance Optimization: Monitoring scheduler performance metrics and implementing optimization strategies to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
- Capacity Planning: Assessing future needs and planning for upgrades or infrastructure changes to accommodate growth as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Additional four (4) of experience exp in lieu of degree is needed.
- Minimum of two (2) Years of experience as Automation Engineer.
- Experience as Control-M Administrator.
- Experience with Troubleshooting, Support, Security Management, Performance Optimization, Capacity Planning.
- Expert level knowledge of schedulers like Skybot, Airflow, Control-M, Windows scheduler.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze technical issues with the scheduler, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder.
- No visa sponsorship available for this position.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
