About the role
- Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of complex public health analytics projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
- Translate client and program objectives into clear technical work plans, milestones, and deliverables, aligning analytic approaches with federal standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight to multidisciplinary teams of biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and data scientists, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, managing communications, expectations, and risk while facilitating timely decision‑making and issue resolution.
- Guide methodological approaches and analytic strategy to ensure rigor, reproducibility, and consistency across projects without performing day‑to‑day analyses.
- Oversee development and review of analytic outputs, dashboards, reports, and manuscripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with CDC and data governance requirements.
- Identify project risks and dependencies, proactively implement mitigation strategies, and adjust plans as needed to maintain delivery timelines.
- Support mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of project management and analytics workflows across the organization.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required
- Master’s degree is required
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (e.g., biostatisticians, epidemiologists, data scientists, engineers) in a matrixed or consulting environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing or reviewing technical documentation, reports, or materials subject to client or federal review processes.
- Experience working with public health, healthcare, or government clients and navigating data governance, compliance, and quality standards.
