About the role
- Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Quality Assurance Consultant in a rapidly growing practice.
- In this role, you will serve as a key contributor responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- You will work closely with developers, administrators, and project managers to design and execute test strategies, document defects, validate fixes, and support continuous improvement of project quality.
- You will guide internal and external teams through testing efforts across system, integration, functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing activities using an adaptive‑agile methodology.
- You will be instrumental in reviewing requirements, creating test plans, participating in sprint ceremonies, and ensuring that all Salesforce functionality—customized or declarative—meets defined acceptance criteria and organizational standards.
- This role is also critical in identifying risks early, collaborating with technical teams to triage issues, and ensuring quality assurance is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of THREE (3) years of Quality Assurance experience, specifically testing Salesforce applications.
- US Citizenship is contractually required.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, and Salesforce data models.
- Experience with QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and testing strategies.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation and QA tools (e.g., Selenium, test automation frameworks, JIRA).
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
- Ability to adapt to the evolving Salesforce ecosystem and rapidly changing features.
