About the role
- The Life Sciences - Patient Services team provides program design, implementation, and monitoring services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device, companies.
- Support clients across the lifecycle of a product to determine the right suite of Patient Support Programs (PSPs).
- Bring programs to life through strong partnerships with manufacturers and third-party vendors through implementation.
- Monitor programs to ensure they achieve strategic intent through bespoke program monitoring solutions.
- Define patient treatment journeys and identify potential Patient Services engagement points.
- Conduct secondary market research on competitor offerings and primary market research with stakeholders.
- Develop Patient Services Program Blueprints and program designs, including defining customer experience and mix of programs.
- Support requirements definition and operational build out of PS HUBs & related programs.
- Define methodologies to measure and benchmark PS program performance; analyze metrics for insights.
- Engage executive-level audiences to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support business development activities including proposal development and scoping.
- Manage junior staff development and project management from cultivation to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 4 years of prior relevant work or consulting experience working with large global pharma, mid-sized pharma and/or biotech clients in Patient Services and related functions.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- The ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to convey strategic recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management.
- Must have subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas as it pertains to life sciences: PS HUBS, Patient Services and/or Patient Support Programs.
- 2 plus years experience managing the activities of a project team including workplan, staffing, deadlines scope and budget.
- Demonstrated success supervising, coaching and mentoring more junior level staff and ownership and guidance of their career development.
- Must be willing and able to travel to client sites across the US, up to 20% of the time.
- Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
