About the role
- Apply comprehensive knowledge to plan and lead ServiceNow administration activities, including user management and system configuration.
- Evaluate system performance results and recommend improvements affecting platform success.
- Function as a technical expert in ServiceNow operations while supervising administrative staff.
- Manage complex integrations and customization requirements with organizational policies compliance.
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and UI policies.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes promptly.
- Implement updates, patches, and upgrades in alignment with best practices.
- Support integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree is required
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- A minimum of FIVE (5) years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Knowledge of data imports, reporting, and dashboards.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
