About the role
- As part of our Workday Practice, you’ll be a member of our fast-growing and energized team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology.
- Drive the Human Capital Management solution and scope for current and prospective clients, leading functional HCM team members with expertise in HCM configuration solutions, and guide the client's Workday architecture to sustain touchpoints between HCM product areas and HCM to Financials.
- Participate and lead in all stages of the GH+ Workday Methodology for implementing Workday HCM, and Compensation performing the following on client engagements:
- Gathering, documenting, and identifying variances in industry leading practices for client business requirements
- Configuring Workday to meet requirements
- Documenting solutions for the client to reference in the future
- Supporting the client and data conversion teams in converting legacy data into Workday
- Supporting the integration teams in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions
- Assisting the client in testing the Workday solution
- Transferring Workday system knowledge to the client to enable self-sufficiency and sustainability
- Communicating regularly with the project manager regarding forecasting hours, time reporting, projects risks, and mitigations
- Working with Workday Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with checkpoints
- Advising clients on industry standards and leading practices
- Recognizing business process inefficiencies and providing recommendations for improvements
- Leading junior consultants and ensuring work quality
- Growing your knowledge and skills as a subject matter expert in the HCM and Compensation pillar of the Workday
- Providing guidance, instruction, and coaching to your peers who are new to Workday consulting
- Participating in proposal responses and business development activities to grow the Guidehouse Workday Practice
- Managing two or more resources of experienced consultants that include junior and experienced consultants
- Creating workforce and staffing plans for specific job area
- Sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews, makes recommendations on pay actions and other personnel actions
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors or managers
Requirements
- US Citizenship (no dual citizenship) and must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
- A Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of SEVEN (7) years of consulting or industry experience delivering ERP solutions; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of consulting or industry experience delivering ERP solutions. Years of experience can be substituted for a degree, such as NO degree with a MINIMUM of ELEVEN (11) years of consulting or industry experience delivering ERP solutions.
- Current holder of the following Workday Certifications: Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Learning, People Experience, etc
- Experience with the execution of at least 7 Workday implementations
- Deep knowledge of the touchpoints between Workday Core HCM and other HCM product areas, such as: Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Learning, People Experience
- Prior managerial experience in leading and supporting a remote workforce
- Ability to travel up to 50% to support client implementations
