About the role
- Managing the day-to-day work of the inpatient coding quality review team members
- Daily work assignments and monitoring productivity and quality
- Answering coding questions
- Reviewing and approving time off
- Completing performance reviews
- Delivering QA reports to the clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
- Must hold one of the following active credentials: (RHIT, RHIA, CCS)
- 5+ years inpatient and/or outpatient coding experience at an acute care hospital
- Prior management experience
- Auditing experience preferred
