About the role

  • Own the full sales cycle for the German hospitality market (prospecting → demo → closing)
  • Use sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or BANT
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of hotels, resorts, and hospitality groups
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demos tailored to customer needs
  • Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers (GM, IT, Operations, Marketing)
  • Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, events, and partnerships
  • Provide structured feedback from the market to Product & Leadership
  • Represent Guestnet at industry events, trade fairs, and partner meetings
  • Identify and research target accounts (hotels, resorts, hospitality groups)
  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, events)
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls and product demos
  • Maintain and continually improve CRM data quality (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop, validate, and scale repeatable sales playbooks
  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on customer interactions
  • Actively contribute to a high-performing, positive, and collaborative sales culture

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in a SaaS environment, ideally within a startup or scale-up
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
  • Proven experience selling to independent hotels as well as enterprise hotel chains, particularly in the Italian market
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset — you want to build and shape, not just execute
  • Confident navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements
  • Proven track record of closing mid-market or enterprise customers
  • “Can-do” attitude and strong team orientation
  • Deep understanding of consultative sales and solution selling
  • Self-driven, hands-on mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong KPI- and target-driven focus with an emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); Italian is a plus
