About the role
- Own the full sales cycle for the German hospitality market (prospecting → demo → closing)
- Use sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or BANT
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of hotels, resorts, and hospitality groups
- Conduct discovery calls and product demos tailored to customer needs
- Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers (GM, IT, Operations, Marketing)
- Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, events, and partnerships
- Provide structured feedback from the market to Product & Leadership
- Represent Guestnet at industry events, trade fairs, and partner meetings
- Identify and research target accounts (hotels, resorts, hospitality groups)
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, events)
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls and product demos
- Maintain and continually improve CRM data quality (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop, validate, and scale repeatable sales playbooks
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on customer interactions
- Actively contribute to a high-performing, positive, and collaborative sales culture
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in a SaaS environment, ideally within a startup or scale-up
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
- Proven experience selling to independent hotels as well as enterprise hotel chains, particularly in the Italian market
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset — you want to build and shape, not just execute
- Confident navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements
- Proven track record of closing mid-market or enterprise customers
- “Can-do” attitude and strong team orientation
- Deep understanding of consultative sales and solution selling
- Self-driven, hands-on mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong KPI- and target-driven focus with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); Italian is a plus
