About the role

  • The Senior QA Automation Engineer leads end-to-end quality efforts across complex software solutions.
  • This role combines deep technical testing experience with strong business domain knowledge to proactively drive quality outcomes that matter.
  • The ideal candidate will influence quality across the product lifecycle, advocate for testability and user-centric validation, and ensure delivery of secure, reliable, and business-aligned solutions.
  • Define and lead test strategies and validation plans across platforms and product lines
  • Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure coverage of critical business scenarios and customer flows
  • Lead quality risk identification and mitigation planning throughout the SDLC
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics
  • Mentor QA engineers and contribute to capability-building across the team
  • Support production readiness, root cause analysis, and post-release quality reviews

Requirements

  • 7+ years of QA automation testing experience, including experience in senior or lead roles
  • Proven track record in designing automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Experience in CI/CD integration and Agile delivery models
  • Proficient with API, performance, and security testing tools
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business domains and validate critical workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across levels
  • Domain experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related work history
