About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate product vision and strategy into actionable tasks aligned with customer needs and organizational goals
- Develop and manage the product backlog
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements
- Maintain product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and meeting notes
- Monitor product development progress and ensure features are ready for sprints and delivery timelines are met
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of Agile practices
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the product meets customer needs and business objectives
- Support the team in implementing Agile product management fundamentals and best practices
- May lead projects or project steps within a broader project
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6 years of experience in product management or a related field
- Experience working in or supporting the wealth management industry
- Ability to develop and manage product backlogs aligned with product vision and strategy
- Experience gathering and refining requirements with cross-functional teams
- Excellent documentation skills, including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders
- Ability to support Agile product management fundamentals and best practices
- Familiarity with wealth management platforms, financial planning platforms, portfolio management tools, or related technology solutions
- Understanding of RIAs or broker-dealer operations and investment products
- Understanding of advisor experience and advisor technology workflows
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
